Zarys International Group, one of the leaders in the Polish and European market of medical supplies, has leased 14,600 sqm of warehouse space in the emerging building in Panattoni Park Zabrze II. Optimum Area advised on the lease transaction.
Zarys International Group is a manufacturer and distributor of medical products. The company was founded in Poland and since 2013 has been operating also on foreign markets exporting its goods to 40 countries, which are intended mainly for hospitals. By relocating to the new facility, developed by Panattoni Europe, Zarys will double its warehouse space in Upper Silesia. The company will move into the new building at the turn of 2020 and 2021.
“Our medical supplies warehouses are already the biggest in Central and Eastern Europe. We continue to expand them, because we also serve markets neighbouring with Poland, such as Czechia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia and Germany. Hence the location of our new distribution centre in Zabrze is of key importance, as by gaining access to road infrastructure we can promptly handle our growing exports” – says Paweł Ossowski, Vice President of the Board and Managing Director, ZARYS International Group.
Panattoni Park Zabrze II will be a new warehouse and manufacturing park located at K. Goduli street in Zabrze within Katowice Special Economic Zone. The complex will comprise 44,000 sqm. Zarys International Group is its first customer. The park provides convenient access to the main transport roads, such as A1 and A2 motorways. The real estate developer is applying for BREEAM (sustainable development certificate) for the facility.
